Who We Are

Women at EMBA ("we," "us," or "our") is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supporting women in the Kellogg Executive MBA community. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you choose to provide it:

• Contact information — your name, email address, Kellogg EMBA campus, and cohort number when you sign up for our newsletter, and your email address when you contact us by email.
• Donation information — if you make a donation, it is processed by BetterWorld, our donation platform, through a form embedded in our site but served from BetterWorld's own domain. We do not store your card details on our servers. What BetterWorld collects is governed by its own privacy policy; see Cookies & Analytics below for the cookies and tracking in that form.
• Usage data — if you accept analytics cookies, information about how you use the site, such as pages visited, buttons clicked, and your browser and device type, collected through Google Analytics. See Cookies & Analytics below.

How We Use Your Information

• To send you our newsletter and event announcements, if you signed up.
• To respond to your questions and requests.
• To process and acknowledge donations, including tax receipts.
• To operate, maintain, and improve our website.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

How We Share Information

As a Kellogg-affiliated group, we share our members' information with the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University when appropriate to deliver programming and extend benefits to our global community of Kellogg students and alumni.

We also share personal information with trusted service providers who help us operate the website, deliver our newsletter, or process donations — and only to the extent needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies & Analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. We use this information only to improve the website. We have turned off Google's advertising features, and we do not use this information to identify you.

Our own use of Google Analytics runs only if you choose "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you choose "Decline," we set no analytics cookies and send no usage data to Google from our site. Donation form. The donation form on our site is provided by BetterWorld and loads from BetterWorld's servers when you scroll to, or open, the donation section. Our cookie banner does not control it. Inside the form, BetterWorld may set its own cookies and use its own analytics and advertising tools — at the time of this update, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and the Meta Pixel — whether you choose "Accept" or "Decline" on our banner. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law (for example, donation records for tax purposes). You may ask us to remove your information at any time.

Your Choices & Rights

• You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Links

Our website contains links to third-party sites, such as LinkedIn and Northwestern Kellogg. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Our website is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
